Catherine is the owner and founder of CedarHouse Hair Studio. She started her career in the hair industry from the young age of 17 in Southern California. Growing up in California, Catherine developed an affinity for beach-inspired lived-in looks, which led her to become a specialist in the balayage and blonding techniques. She has also worked as an educator–teaching color classes at salons all around North America. Along with a degree in Forensic Anthropology, Catherine loves exploring how hairstyling is the perfect combination of science and art, technical yet creative. Upon opening her first salon CedarHouse Hair studio, she is excited to start this new journey with her career in this industry.
Karly is an innovative hairstylist with 9 years in the beauty industry. She devotes her time to educating and consulting with her clients to achieve their hair goals and needs. She specializes in color and color corrections, as well as unique blonding techniques. She also provides extension services with extensive knowledge on multiple installation techniques. Karly brings excellent care and strategic techniques to all of her cut and style clients to achieve the best results for their lifestyle and hair goals.

Leslie has over a decade of experience, starting her career at the Aveda Institute in Portland. Her love of adventure and travel then moved her to Hawaii where she trained as a cutting specialist and gained experience with a wide range of hair types. Upon returning to the Pacific Northwest, Leslie developed a love of color. From beachy blondes to rich red tones, Leslie can customize the color perfect for you. After spending six years in salon management and stylist development, her passion for the craft brought her to CedarHouse where she can focus on providing a relaxing experience for her guests while delivering quality results.

Sarah is a Seattle native that graduated cosmetology school in 2008 from the Paul Mitchell Hair Academy. Afterwards, Sarah did her advanced training with Bumble & Bumble at the Be Creative house in Orlando, FL, as well as at The Redken Exchange in New York. Early on in her career, she made her way in the freelance world traveling, and focusing mainly on weddings, fashion shows, print/magazine work, music videos, and special events doing both hair and makeup. Now she resides in Seattle, doing hair behind the chair since 2013. Sarah finds her strongest skill in her attention to detail, providing a unique and customizable style for anyone that sits in her chair. She enjoys providing clients with interchangeable, highly textured cuts, as well as lived-in, dimensional color. She also has high experience in men's barbering such as skin fades and taper styles.

Ivy Jacobs is a hair stylist of ten years who prides herself on providing a non judgemental and approachable environment to her clients. Her specialty is working with curly and textured hair of all kinds. Ivy enjoys giving her curly clients a luxury salon experience, making them feel valued and heard. As the saying goes; “Ask a curly person about their hair and they will tell you about their life.”
Ivy is Devacurl technique certified and more importantly, has spent hundreds of hours working with curly clients of all textures. From loose waves to tight coils, Ivy welcomes all curl patterns and gives each client the respect and attention they deserve.
Ivy is accepting new haircolor clients on a very limited basis. If you are interested in getting your color done with Ivy, please schedule a haircut so that the two of you can discuss if she would be a good fit. If not, Ivy is happy to recommend another excellent stylist to provide color.
